In instances where your drive is working well and want a company to perform a secure data transfer, then we can definitely help you. A computer repair shop can possibly transfer your data cheaper, or you can purchase a USB adapter online to do it yourself. However, we are an advanced data recovery company, so if you want a secure transfer without worrying about making the problem worse or potentially losing all the data, we can do it safely and securely for you.
Unlike other places, we do not do just a regular “drag & drop” transfer. We use data recovery equipment which detects if there are any problems like bad sectors or degraded surface with the drive during transfer, and our equipment will stop the process to prevent any damages to the drive. One of our certified data experts will be monitoring the entire secure data transfer process to ensure that any problems with the drive do not go unnoticed. We will also back up your data in our secure offline server for two weeks free of charge, just in case if your copy of the data gets damaged and you need another copy. If another copy won’t be needed then our server will automatically permanently delete the data, ensuring maximum privacy.
Because of this process, it will be a flat rate of $200 to perform secure data transfer. Keep in mind that if any complications occur during the transfer process, we will have to perform a diagnostic, and you will be provided with a new price quote to address the damages and get your data back. You will have the option of whether or not to proceed with the diagnostic/recovery. If you end up not wanting to proceed, we will refund the $200 payment no problem.
If the secure data transfer process goes smoothly, then we will need something to put the data on to. If data is 120GB or less, we will provide a transfer drive for free. Data transfer usually takes an estimated 1-2 business day(s), if no complications occur during the data transfer process. No. In order to begin the secure data transfer, we require a flat rate of $200. If data was successfully transferred, then we cannot refund the flat rate of $200 as we would have to account for all the labor hours that went into the transfer process. The $200 is only refundable if we find that the drive has an issue and you do not wish to continue with the diagnostic/recovery.
Yes. If secure data transfer is not possible due to the condition of your drive, you will have the option of whether or not to proceed with the diagnostic/recovery. If you end up not wanting to proceed, we will refund the $200 payment no problem.
If transferred data is 120GB or less, then we will provide a transfer drive for free. If data is more than 120GB, then you can either provide your own empty/new transfer drive or purchase one from us.
